Completely smothering the Overlord's yellowed papyrus was a parchment, the auburn and snow-white residuum of deerskin, streaked with drops and dashes of crimson, visible in an upturned corner. Embossed on the parchment was a screed in Old German typeface "It forsaketh noght. I chese Laude Ioye....
