Challenge to New Haven
To the Officials,
I hereby exhibit my right to challenge for the Barony of New Haven. The current Baron is a blight to the district, and his crimes cannot go unignored. May he defend his honor, his barony, and his slights well - for I will be dueling under the Banner of the Adventurer's Guild, with Aenlyn Hollow as my second, and my sword will blaze blue in-combat. Should I come out the better in the challenge, I intend to use my influence to help bring the lower and middle classes into New Haven more by creating a School for the Gifted and Talented with tuition costs to be supported by the Adventurer's Guild of Dragon's Gate.

Captain of Dragon's Gate Guard, and Adventurer's Guild Maester~

It's about time one of you found the balls.
I accept this challenge. I look forward to defending my right to continue my reign of terror upon the barony.
And I hope you have some stamina, you loathsome feline hero. Because, in order to get to me, you’re going to have to go through the Figure. He will decide whether or not you are Worthy to face me.

Wow, Skyler. You're about as stupid now as you were when you had your first Barony.
Might want to know what the rules are before shooting your mouth off.
Much as I don't approve of Rakeesh and his ways, I'm hoping he kicks your ass with all four of his hooves.
And your little Figurine won't be able to help you. Not unless he has a way to get Overlord by the time the horse takes you on.
I don't see that happening, though.
By the way, when you challenged Cassius and Tareth stepped in, Tareth happened to be the Overlord.

Oh well. I never bothered reading any of those rules. I guess I'll have to deal with you myself. I'm still thinking about whether this will be a best of three, or a single duel. I'll let you know. I will arrange the caller, so you won't have to worry about that little detail.

You are assuming you will still be Overlord when this challenge takes place, Karen.
Though considering your cowardly christian ass hasn't answered my challenge yet I assuming you are stalling to see how many extra days your overlord reign will be. You might stretch it out to like 18-19 days.
I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but since I have seen you about RhyDin and you obviously have time to answer matters on the corkboard, it is simple to see you are avoiding me because you are afraid.

Baphe,
You're clearly unhappy that the Overlord is taking her time in answering your challenge. Perhaps you're unaware that the Overlord is permitted a full seven days to respond to it?
Of course, you could just be impatient enough that you wanted her to answer the challenge Immediately, as you wasted no time in challenging her as soon as you knew the new standings were posted.
Funny though, when I started dueling, challenging as soon as the standings were up, or challenging as soon as you could were considered bad form. I would have expected you to stick to older, more respectable ways rather than conforming to the newer, asinine, child-like mentality style.
But then, I guess everything does change.
If you do win the Overlordship, however, I would still hope you would remember respect, and not lower yourself to a position of defending someone as pathetic as Skyler, though. I would think you have standards.

That is the most laughable statement I've heard you make, Skyler. As if anyone needed your permission to be Overlord.Skyler wrote:Of course Karen's afraid -- she's rubbish. Baphe will take a maximum of seven rounds to dispose her. Hell, Karen wouldn't even be Overlord right now if I didn't let her.
Skyler
Honestly, you're just not that good. Don't get an ego you don't deserve.
