Letter to the Community

[Bran Bale]

To the duelers of our community:

I came to RhyDin City almost three years ago for a certain
purpose. I was tasked with becoming the top fighter in either swords,
fists, or magic in order to prove to my father and my tribe that I was worthy of becoming our next cheiftan. Fortune smiled on me, in that I was able to accomplish all three. With a heavy heart, I realize it is now time for me to return home and claim what is
rightfully mine.

I want to thank some people who helped me to achieve my dreams.

Thanks to Gaius for being like a mentor to me, and allowing me to join the illustrious Mercenarii!

Thanks to Cobra/Roshambo! Art and Vinny, along with Kyndra, Jewell, Bo "Knows" Outlaw, and Felix (the dwarf, not the cat). COBRAAAAA!!! and RO! SHAM! BOOOO!

Thanks to Wyheree for being my long-time freindly rival! How many times did we duel each other again?

Thanks to Lydia and Soerl! I miss you guys.

Thanks to the duelers that made me feel at home over the past three years: Tormay, Guillermus, Neo, Rena, Uriko, Joex, Xeric, Rab, Anjolie, Gabe, Random, Liena, Taneth, and so many more, forgive me if I've forgotten you!

I would like to encourage all the new duelers like Jay, Maranya, Michiko, and the others, to keep going and never give up! Here were the results to my first night in the duels, at the Outback:

Not very impressive, huh? But I turned out alright, didn't I? Just keep trying and eventually you'll do it!

I should be able to make it home before my 21st birthday. I'm not sure what's going to happen when I return home, but it's something that I must do. I miss home, I miss my family and friends as well. I may come back one day, so until then, farewell, and keep dueling!
