Challenge for Dragon's Gate
I cannot stand seeing someone unfit to hold a title holding one. Let's face it, your actions concerning the challenge of Anubis Karos were darned cowardly - I might not like Anubis myself, but to collar myself would be unconscionable. To that end, I hereby challenge Teagan for Dragon's Gate.

Congratulations, Guill. While you will fail at taking this title, you do earn the title of the most self-righteous warlord in the Arena. Hands down.
And for the record, should you ever challenge me for any title, it will be a single match so that even if you beat me you will be forced to retire the title thanks to your little honor code. I will never be the reason that you get to call yourself a baron.

Who gave you power over judgement and persecution? My scars are my own penance. I do not need you to play Daddy and set me straight.
Our friendship, consider it terminated. It was my mistake to think that betrayal of trust and friendship may have been crossing the line for one so honorable as yourself. Should you ever approach or speak to me again I will consider it an act of aggression.
I would say I hope you are happy with yourself, but somehow I imagine your happiness is directly influenced by the honor of other people. You have nothing to contribute to society. It is a shame you decide to take your own self pity out on others instead of jumping off a cliff.
Challenge accepted, you ungrateful idiot.

There can be no doubt that the Warlord is in the right here. Neither Jaycy, nor Teagan, are worthy of their Baronies in his eyes; as a challenger, that is all that matters.
Popularity is fleeting and vain. In the end, all mortals are dust and their legends are written without their consent. May the scribes of history remember this challenge as righteous, and may the trollops be beaten from the ring.

Guillermus Iulius Fortis;
It seems your honor is more important than your friendships. To me that makes you very dishonorable. I hate to cast aspirations onto your character Guillermus, but as a friend, I am once again disappointed.
We had this discussion not 6 days ago, and here you are sticking your foot in your mouth, once again. I suppose shoe leather must be the latest dish at your restaurant.

Honor is a cold companion. It does not have your back in times of trouble. It does not stand with you when others will not. You chose to burn your bridges and hurt those that honestly cared to call you friend. I suppose you will have your new family in your corner, but it is a shame that you are intent on slapping down everyone else.
You also have to remember that you are a businessman now. Such statements to reflect on your business and will hurt it in the long run. Word of mouth spreads like wildfire.
I wish you well in your endeavors. But I cannot in good conscience continue to have your back.
My honor demands such.

When one is blinded to friendships, this so called honor is a cold companion. When your hurt your friends, honor is a bitter pill to swallow. Hurting the people that care about you is not about honor, honesty or integrity. You have forgotten about the truly important things in your life if you have to cling this this idealization you have.G. Iulius Fortis wrote:Laylla, when one does not have any friendships, what is there to turn to but honor?
You made the bed, and you need to lay in it. You have slapped too many people in the face.

Honor does not protect one from their ever growing number of enemies, sir. Friendships do that.G. Iulius Fortis wrote:Laylla, when one does not have any friendships, what is there to turn to but honor?

Playing the world's smallest violin for you, right in front of the corkboard. I'm shocked no one's tipped me yet.
Look, you lost your friendships by acting like an idiot, not by making "unpopular choices." So -- maybe you should stop acting like an idiot? Just a suggestion. Shot in the dark, you know? But it seems like you've tried, oh, just about everything else but that.
