Challenge for Battlefield Park

Baron Ar'Din,

I have elected to use the challenge grant generously bestowed upon me by Tarl Cabot to attempt to acquire the Barony of Battlefield Park.

For those interested in my reasoning (especially since the Renegade-aligned Baron is currently under challenge, albeit one which was not fought last night), Battlefield Park is one of my favorite locations in the city especially since it's served as a second home to the Duel of Fists upon more than one occasion.

I look forward to the opportunities that a match with you offers, Kalamere.

This challenge is valid, though it should be noted that there is a pending decision in regards to the Overlord Grant recipient, Dyarhk's challenge for the same Barony.

However, Renegade Barons are allowed to have a Challenge Queue. So this challenge may go forward immediately pending the final result of the Barons Council.

This match did indeed take place as scheduled. In a hard-fought best of three series, it was the challenger, Matt Simon, who emerged victorious, and is now the Baron of Battlefield Park. Matt indicated he will declare his alignment in the very near future.
