June 2013 Archmage Tournament

The June Archmage Tournament will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 8:00pm Eastern! The format will be double elimination, and late entrants have no more than 5 minutes to arrive. Seeding will begin at 8:05pm, and casting will begin at 8:10pm. Seeding will be done via the most recent RoK rankings. Please post your registrations as replies to this thread. Good luck everyone!

I know I'm about a day late and $3 short, but I had the pleasure of officiating this shindig along with Battin, who graciously made my life a lot easier.

The competitors- Shadow, Jacen, Xanth, Rachael, Lem, Jesse

The rundown, rd 1:
Jesse over Shadow 5.5-3.5 in 15
Lem over Jacen 5-1 in 8
Rachael over Xanth 5.5-3.5 in 6

Rd 2:
Rachael had the bye up top. Shadow with the bye down below.
Lem over Jesse 5.5-2.5 in 8
Jacen over Xanth 5.5-1.5 in 6

Rd 3:
Jacen had the bye down below.
Lem over Rachael 6.5-5.5 in 10
Shadow over Jesse 5.5-3.5 in 11

Rd 4:
Lem got to sit around for a while since he won the top bracket.
As all three remaining duelists had a bye at some point already, Shadow got a second one as the top seeded duelist left.
Jacen over Rachael 5.5-1 in 7

Rd 5:
Lem sat around and snacked some more
Shadow over Jacen 5.5-2.5 in 8

Rd 6:
Shadow over Lem 5.5-4.5 in 11

Rd 7: Shadow over Lem 5-2 in 6

So yeah. Even though he lost the first found, Shadow found enough pluck to persevere and fight his way through the field to earn the right to face me at some point later this week. Congrats to him, and a nice job by everyone who competed.
