...but for whatever reason when I am in the RoH or RDI chat rooms that weird sound chime that plays when people enter/exit, send text to the room, etc, keeps going off constantly whether anyone is doing anything or not. And what's ironic is I have all those sounds TURNED OFF! lol

Oy, it was driving me slightly insane last night. Anyone else have this problem or a possible solution?

I haven't had an issue with this, but can look into it.

What operating system and browser are you using?

Try going into the options, turning them on again, and then off? See if that will kickstart it into working again. If not, I'll defer to Jake further. :)

That's what I have to do with the background graphic. Wouldn't surprise me if the sounds take the same sort of kicking.

You hear the chat sounds despite having the boxes unchecked in Options panel?

Windows 7, IE 10.

Will try the checking options thing again, maybe reset to default or something, etc some more. Tried those kinds of things already though.

Win 7 with IE 9 seemed to work ok. (I tried Mute All, and everything went quiet.)

If resetting doesn't work for you, let us know.

I have the same problem with the background and I'm using Vista 64 Bit with Chrome.

Just the cookie and not the Flash cache?

Win 7 64bit w/ both Chrome and Firefox.

My standard is to turn off sounds, turn off the background image and up the font a little 'cause I'm old and going blind.

When I come back the next time, the options are all set correctly, but the background image still display until I go in and turn it back on and then off again.

Not a huge deal really, just suggest Joku try something similar with the sounds.

My settings never stick. I always have to go in and turn off the sounds I don't want to deal with and set my chat color.

Win 7 64 Firefox 15

ETA, I just realized, I use the tool, which I believe is run in IE 10.

By the same token, my log into to the ROH website never sticks, and no matter what name I log in as, it doesn't stick, but when I try again, it goes to the last name I was logged in as.

Just the cookie, yes. The Flashchat is fine. Chrome auto updates it.
