Apparently we have entered a parallel dimension where you honestly believe I would acquiesce to such an irrational demand.

In case you fail to detect my sarcasm, the answer is an emphatic "Hell No".

So "Hell no" on the team up, but yes on our date tomorrow night. Okay!

I made no such confirmation! The loss of the Citadel of Stars must have driven you to new heights of insanity. I suggest your date be held at the nearest mental institute. I am sure some worthy psychiatrist can build a career out of psychoanalyzing your warped brain.

Okay okay okay. I was there! There for the first ever Tag Team Championship Tournament!

A bunch of teams entered, but there seemed to be a few confusing parts cause not everyone showed up. Some withdrew before the start time, some were missing partners, and there were exchanges made when there was lateness!

Either way, we ended up with 5 total teams!

• Team Thug - Jake and Napoleon
  Team Anonymous What - Pearl and Velen
  Beauty and the Beast - Vincent Smith and Red 'ur Thorne
  Ex Nihilo - Kruger and Claire
  Team Rocket - Xanth and Jesse

Jake and Napoleon and Vince and red showed up just fine. Pearl's partner was late, so ended up getting Kruger, but when Velen showed up, Kruger stepped aside and Velen re-teamed with Pearl, making their team just right. Then we thought Anubis wasn't going to show up, so Jesse teamed with Xanth, but then Anubis did show up and then Jesse was without a partner.

Claire was supposed to partner with Bile, but he missed it, so Kruger agreed to take with Claire. They were happy. Xanth and Anubis got the bye, and partially through the first round, Anubis couldn't stay so asked if it was okay for Xanth to partner with Jesse anyway, and since things needed to go smoothly I said it was okay, so Jesse and Xanth ended up teaming together anyway.

It all worked out!!!

Like I said, Xanth and Anubis/Jesse got a bye in the first round due to random choice. That led for the following matches...

Team Thug -vs- Team Anonymous What
Beauty and the Beast -vs- Ex Nihilo

Thug defeated What in 12 rounds.
Ex Nihilo defeated B&B in 21 rounds.

Due to having the most points left in their previous match, Team Thug received the next bye, leaving Ex Nihilo to face Team Rocket, Jesse and Ja..err.. Xanth!

Nihilo had complete control in this match, and even still it took a total of 18 rounds for Nihilo to dispatch Jesse and Xanth. It looked like Team Rocket was flying off again!

Ex Nihilo defeated Team Rocket in 18 rounds.

Finally, it was time for Team Thug to face off against Ex Nihilo.

Whether due to the rest of the bye, or the length of Nihilo's previous matches, Team Thug dominated throughout this match. Poor Kruger could barely get any momentum and was knocked out in 5 rounds, the only point gained on Jake being a double team with Claire. All in all, Claire held out as long as she could, but was unable to overcome the lead that Thug had and ended up falling after a total of 11 rounds.

Team Thug defeated Ex Nihilo in 11 rounds.

Thus crowning Team Thug the First Ever Duel of Swords Tag Team Champions!!

Now, the champions are going to end up having to defend these titles. But they will first be eligible for challenge on August 1st due to the short time remaining here in June. July is a free calendar month without being challenged. Tag Team Champions are able to be challenged on a First Come, First Serve basis so good luck to all!
