I'm pretty sure that Alasdair is simply following the rules, and I don't think that he can reconsider validating a challenge if the challenger meets the requirements. Now, step back and let mom and dad make the arrangements.

What's funny about this challenge is (from what the gossip sheets report) that *someone* didn't like me dragging Gatito into the drama or whatever (of course, if anyone had asked, I would have explained that Old Market was next on my list regardless of anything else going on and the only thing that changed was my timetable) so they dragged my friend into it in retaliation?

She is going to absolutely destroy you, Kruger, and I can't wait to watch.

I suppose it's only clear to everyone else, so let me guide your eyes a little, although I am sure this will (for you) be TL:DR.

1.) Your decision to include yourself into challenge posturing between Sal and Hope is kind of a shame, because it seems to indicate a lack of confidence in Hope's abilities to defend herself. I have far more confidence in Sal's ability and only jumped in when you insisted to double team him. He may not have known then, but he does now. I have his back.

2.) The statement concerning challenge queues was a bit insulting, and readily ignored by me until your challenge of Gatito alluded back to it. Please don't feign innocence. If in fact your backpedaled reasoning was true to begin with, it would have been initially stated, and The Anvil would not have felt the need to balance the scales. Here's the math portion. The Weight of one Anvil is still greater than the weight of you and Hope, and nearly equal if we add in Michelle.

3.) I challenged Anubis for Cadentia and lost quite soundly, The Anvil still wants it.
a.) Michelle challenged me for PathFinder and took it.
b.) Michelle challenged me for the Tower of Earth and I defended.
c.) I waited to challenge for Cadentia as long as Michelle waited to take PathFinder.

4.) I have not had any disrespectful or disparaging remarks for Michelle (the person to whom this challenge was issued), and she has not become a shrieking harpy who feels the need to add a lot of unnecessary back and forth crap.

5.) Just because you're pretty doesn't mean you can't be a bully. Your going after Gatito in such a way is quite reminiscent of that, and The Anvil doesn't like a bully.

6.) My offer still stands, think about it since you seem more concerned with this than Michelle does.

Michelle, I apologize for forcing you to be party to this. Had I not started to see the same toxicity which has, in the past, made the sport unbearable, I wouldn't have acted at all. Still looking forward to your re-challenge for the Tower of Earth, and you can expect me to give a reciprocating challenge for Cadentia, should you still hold it.
