RhyDin Fashion Week Notes from RhyDin Wear Daily:

Hello, lovelies! Fashion Week will keep you on the go all week long with this year’s theme of Fashion in Motion.

Don’t forget to celebrate the night and grab a bottle of Red Orc Brewery’s limited-run Fashion Week brew, Drop Dead Red. What does your night have in store?

Saturday, April 27th

The Benson Boulevard Initiative Presents the
Fashion Week 2024 Charity Kickoff: Fashion in Motion`
9 PM - Great Desert Raceway, Cadentia (Discord The Great Desert)
All Proceeds Benefit the Sanyumato Relief Fund, the Small Business Relief Fund in celebration of Jewell Ravenlock and the RhyDin Welcome Center.

Monday, April 29th

Kitchy Kando
1 PM - Main Tent

Abroad in Adenna Exhibition Opening with Christopher Andan and Nima Liltu
3 PM - Promenade
Adenna’s finest fashions return in a stunning exhibition featuring the works of Pearle De Causey, Angela Kenra, Minnie Mardoni and other Adenna designers.
Exhibition runs for the full duration of Fashion Week.

Brix in Babel Runway Show
5 PM - Promenade
Head Designer: Brix Biloxi
Featuring: Mitzy & Mayhem, Tricky O’Leary

Jackson Walt
6 PM - Promenade
Head Designers: Zachary Jackson and Walter Rusk
Featuring: Nero Zhir

Dr. Pneumatic’s Roving Party Caravan
4PM - 12AM - Under the Leaping Spider, Old Temple
There’s no telling where Dr. Pneumatic will bring his party to but we’re able to share his first destination is over the Solarium. Look for the Leaping Spider in the sky to find where he’s touched down with his fellow revelers - we’re told the wonders inside his floating ship make it hard to leave. For more clues on where Dr. Pneumatic will be throughout Fashion Week, follow @UndertheLeapingSpider.

Buoyant Blurs
10AM - Cedar Gallery, Benson Boulevard

Showcasing the latest innovative photography techniques, Benny Zakumi and Poe Rains share a jubilant display of the fastest creatures in RhyDin. Exhibition runs through the length of Fashion Week.

Go Rabbit Go Karting
11AM - Battlefield Park
Join Walter the Moon Rabbit on a multichromatic go kart track around the Enchanted Lily Pond. Helmets and head socks provided. Opens every day at 11AM through the length of Fashion Week.

Wings, Wheels and Wind: Workshop for Children
3 PM - Cardinal Inn, Old Market
Sponsored by The Heavenly Boutique
Children of all ages are welcome to build their own model ships, cars and planes. Supplies, protective gear and snacks provided.

How the BBI cleared safe passage for their guests to traverse the shifting wasteland to arrive at the open air raceway was anyone’s guess. Armed drivers would transport guests without their own vehicles while others were welcome to drive, fly, or teleport to the site of the night’s festivities. Was it completely safe? Probably not, but such was the cost of high fashion.

There were no parking valets and even fewer rules of travel upon arrival. While the runway show would take place at night, as the sands cooled leading into sunset, racers of all shapes and sizes were invited to compete for wild stakes and reputation.









DJ Shifter Talk found himself a musical oasis with his DJ booth surrounded by palm trees and blooming cacti.



A circular stage paved with black and white tiles and prepped by the MagiTech™ team would house the runway show and all of its theatrics.



Notable party guests included the enigmatic Dr. Pneumatic who rarely stayed in one place for more than a few minutes, mixing it up with guests to keep the lively party going.



Walter the Moon Rabbit may not have had a driver’s license but that didn’t stop him from arriving in style.



Despite the desert backdrop, food and drinks were plentiful. Prickly pear in varied forms was readily available. Waitstaff dressed for both atmospheres - the actual and the high society - attended to guests on foot and in high voltage golf carts.

It was pretty likely that Eddie's colors had been selected for him. It was just as likely that he had no idea what he'd be wearing to the opening of Fashion Week. It was fun to be surprised. He was pretty sure that everything was picked to pair with whatever Tahlia was going to be wearing. Once he had the bronze highlighted black tux donned it was time to pick a vehicle. He took the keys to his most recent customized ride, a 1966 Dodge D200 Power Wagon with color changing paint that ranged from dark green to light brown.
