Because you wanted my attention? There are easier ways to do that, you know.
Either way, I accept.

But if Reign loses she'll demand to sleep on my new couch. :'(

I promise your couch is safe. No promises on your beach house.

Re: Challenge for New Haven
This challenge happened tonight and it was a doozy!
Our challenger was the one and the only Droet the Bold! Droet fought under his personal banner of blue and yellow with crossed red swords! While he came to the fight with no second, his person of honor was the lovely Kamaria.
Defending the barony tonight was none other than the Baron of New Haven herself, Reign! Reign fought under her colors of gold on black. Her second was the Squire of New Haven, Dakota Street, and her person of honor was Dust Raa.
As proceedings got underway, the Arena was graced with the presence of the Overlord himself, Anubis Karos, who might have surprised the Baron when he requested a Test of Worthiness on her behalf. Having no choice but to allow it, Reign stepped aside, and the challenger Droet quickly prepared himself to face the Overlord!
Perhaps befitting of his high title, Anubis was first on the board as the test began. However, this was no runaway fight, and Droet quickly tied things up just a round later. The two fought in a close battle, with Droet finding his first lead of the night in round 3, and then ceding it back to Anubis almost just as quickly by round 5. That lead would not hold! Droet soon took command, twice more fighting his way to the lead, and before long he had reached match point! He wasted no time then in closing the door on Anubis, taking the win, and proving himself worthy of the Overlord's test!
FINAL: Droet the Bold def. Anubis Karos, 5 - 3 in 9 rounds.
With that win behind him, Droet could finally go on to face the Baron in the fight he had chosen for New Haven!
Again, it was the titleholder who was first on the board, as Reign's spinning counter with her trusty gunblade protected her from Droet's opening salvo and allowed her to connect on the counter. For a couple rounds, Droet and Reign both seemed to be sizing each other up, trying to attune to each other's fight styles. Droet finally scored and brought the matter to a tie in round 4. However, he could not hold it. For the remainder of the fight, he was chasing Reign's lead -- always keeping it close, but never able to over come the Baron! Reign secured match point in round 8 and took the win in round 10. It was a valiant effort from both fighters!
FINAL: Reign def. Droet the Bold, 5 - 3 in 10 rounds.
Congratulations to Reign on her first defense! And well-tried, Droet! Impressive stuff overcoming the Overlord's test!
