IFL Team Meet & Greet 2013: OOC Information

The idea behind
IFL Team Meet & Greet 2013 is to get characters interacting more outside the rings.
The IFL Team Meet & Greet 2013 is going to be a
dueling-free event. Everyone is welcome whether they are participating in IFL this year or not. Characters can interact socially and get to know their teammates, people can check out their competition (or lack thereof perhaps), smack-talk can be had but so can just get-to-know-you conversation.
That’s what I would like to see come out of this event. What about you? This is the place to discuss your thoughts on it.
Also: If your team had a team drink or cocktail, what would it be?

I can possibly be persuaded to change the date if Monday is not an ideal night for a majority of players.

My nomination for Team Dirty's cocktail of choice:
"Angel with a Dirty Face"
Equal parts:
Bailey's® Irish cream
Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
DeKuyper® Buttershots liqueur
Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapp
Pour ingredients in equal parts over ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a shot glass. Tastes like cinnamon iced mocha.
Can't wait for Jules to get her smack on (and a drink or two) at the event!

Bump.
Is there overall interest in this event? I think it has potential, but that doesn't mean everyone has to share my sentiments! If it's not something the community is interested in, that's cool. I'd just like to know because I'll just shelf it if it doesn't work. I know with IFL coming up, people are busy.
If there is interest, let's talk team drinks!!

I was interested in going. I'm sure Gren will have a Broot or two.

I think it's a great idea, and hope I can have Bane around that night.
As for drinks, the only thing I could think of for TOP is a Jet Pilot Cocktail... but I don't know much about alcoholic beverages. I'll leave that to those who know more.
Bane will be drinking water anyway. ;p

Since Gren and Bane are all that matter to me (and Candy and Apple of course), we are a go!
The idea behind the drinks was serving drinks at the bar that represented the different teams. I can just make up ones for teams too :)

lol! We could do that.
What do most people use for music playlists now? I know waaay back, when I was first doing IC events, we had a music player in the room. Didn't work too well and we stopped doing that. Don't know what people do now. Spotify?

my suggestion for Team Fist drink is: Flip Flop Punch
Ingredients:
2 ounces chamomile-infused Flor de Cana 4-year old rum (*recipe below)
4 sugar cubes
1 ounce lemon juice
1 1/2 ounces grapefruit juice
3 ounces club soda
Grapefruit slices for garnish
*To Make Chamomile-infused Rum:
Add 4 barspoons of chamomile tea to one bottle of rum. Let the concoction sit for an hour and forty five minutes and then strain out the tea. Save the bottle for storage.
My playlist has to include Mouth for War (Pantera), Battery (Metallica), Down with the Sickness (Disturbed), Heresy (9 inch nails) and jingle Bell rock (any version)

Sounds good!
I'm playing around with Spotify for the first time, so I'm making a playlist for this.
Any other suggestions?
