Baronial Tournament! 3-2-14

As the previous Overlord has come up with a bad - and almost certainly temporary given this particular city, case of death, the Council of Barons has elected to hold a tournament in order to select a new Overlord.

The details are as follows!

The Tournament shall be held on Sunday, the 2rd of March at 9 pm EST.

Sign-ups are MANDATORY and must be appended to this notice upon the corkboard prior to the start-time of the tournament.

Seedings for the tournament shall be decided by the tenure of the Barons with the exception of Vincent Smith, should he choose to enter the tournament. Vincent shall be given priority seeding if he does decide to enter.

The Barons are expected to be present at 9:00 pm. Matchups will be announced at that time, and the duels are expected to begin at 9:05.

Apple has graciously agreed to host the tournament and will be present to call for the Barons.

The format will be announced by Apple at the start of the tournament, based upon signups and the number of actual attendees.

(There will be a five minute timer for the sending of moves. Exceeding the time limit once will result in a friendly reminder from the Caller. Thereafter, any move not sent by the five minute time limit will be manually inputted as a Disengage.)

Four out of Seven Barons took the dueling stage this past Sunday night to compete for the coveted title of Overlord.

The format of the tournament was Single Elimination and seeding based on the longevity of each barons reigns.

All accomplished duelists in their own rights, but only one could become the Overlord by using their quit wits, cunning, and skill.

Morgan le Fay rose to the challenge and grasped hold of the title after defeating both the Baron of Battlefield Park, Teagan and Baron of New Haven, Jake.
