As someone who is now employed as a cook at a Sports Bar and Grill that seats over 450 people, to all the FootBall Fans out there I say PFFFT!

Someone hasn't been watching Hockey then. There's more brawling in football than there has been in Hockey in the last five years.

Or is it just the highlights when there's a rare fight ya see, hmm?

Yeah, but there's one now. And that's the important thing. Shutting down the greed of players, unlike football.. you know, where they get lots and lots for standing on a field, make a play, stand on the field, lather, rinse, repeat.

In the case of why there wasn't a season last year, most fans, myself included, were totally on the sides of the Owners. There were too many teams losing money cause all the revenue ended up going to the players. You can'ty run a business like that.

And I still stand that Hockey is the best sport out there. Hell, the only major sport that compares in fitness would be Basketball. You ever see a fat hockey player? Nope. Ever see a fat football player or baseball player? All the time.

Oh yeah! And this is a trash talking thread, so ha! Hockey rules! Flyers are going all the way! (providing Forsberg and Hatcher stay healthy)

Hockey's the best sport out there! Curling isn't a sport, neither is golf, those are skills... and I question curling being a skill.. hmm.

Best athelete in the world is Lance Armstrong tho!

He'd outlast any football player there is. haha!

Now, as for losing money, why on earth would anyone want to go pay to watch a bunch of street brawlers go at each other with long sticks?

If ya want to make money.... own a football team!!!! <g>

Shall I start the list alphabetically, or just say I've seen a lot of them without broken noses, and they're not the goalies.

As to the brawling.. Basketball players don't play with sticks. But they brawl more now than hockey players do.

And it doesn't gotta have a ball to be considered a sport.

The best sports, in fact, are played without a ball. Like... HOCKEY! Haha!
