I made a post asking about things like this for our Volunteers, achievements for toughing it out as officials and the like. Was told Achievements were coming soon. So would there be ones for our volunteers? If there aren't any yet...I had some ideas.
And what happened to this?
Q: I was Overlord/Archmage/Diamond in 1999, can I claim that badge now?
A: No. You will start at your current rank. Any badges you wish to own you will have to work for them again. There are no retroactive badges.
I've found a few given out....

Life is 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will. 5% pleasure, 50% pain. That's 100% reason to remember the name.
If you are referring to the regular ranks, yes. After a brief conversation it was decided to grant the regular DoS/DoF/DoM ranks, not the titles. Those are the only retroactive badges. I believe DoM and DoF are done.Scorched Druid wrote:Q: I was Overlord/Archmage/Diamond in 1999, can I claim that badge now?

Does the rank of Squire count as a title? How about the Talon or Panther's Claw holders? Or can you only not claim Overlord/Archmage/Diamond retroactively? I suppose what I mean is: which badges specifically can we not claim retroactively? I'd assume there's fewer of those than the ones we can.Amaltea wrote:If you are referring to the regular ranks, yes. Actually you cannot claim any of them retroactively. Whatever badges were going to be given retroactive are done or in the process of being handed off. Those are the ranks already earned, like swordsman, emerald, or mage. Titles like Archmage, Baron, Squire, Opal, and so on, are not retroactive. Those titles can be earned at any time. If you are currently a squire or hold some other title you should have that already, if you don't -- because we are human and miss things -- then you can claim it.

Suggestion: Achievement awards that require more than one win to get the badge require different opponents per match to achieve the badge.
