I have met the cut of Grade A red meat that is Al and his faithful evil minion. And I must admit, they're enough to make any girl's knees weak.

Unfortunately, I still have yet to meet the sexiest part of that gang -- the drop dead gorgeous Caedia! Now that's a vacation I'd sign up for!

::double take::

If you've performed Shakespeare there before with the cast then we've probably met, or at least have more than a few friends in common. I was on staff in 2001, and 2004. Last year I was only around for a couple of weekends to do some video work for a couple of the independent acts.

This year I'll probably be around at least one or two weekends performing with the Terrors. I'll probably be with them for Celtic fling, though I don't think it's been decided yet whether or not I'll actually be performing with them that weekend.

For the Maryland folks, if people want to get together for a drink sometime, I'm hoping to make it to the Maryland Renn Faire at least once, maybe twice this year, if my schedule allows.

At the moment I'm stuck in Canada...it's cold here and I don't fit in because I don't say "Eh?" enough.

(Okay...I'm doing this on a laptop so any mistakes, shoot me.)
I'm all up for meeting folks and all, depends on times and locations. As for a fair on the east coast, there is one in Raleigh,NC-I will have to find information on that--my kids were asked by a past co-worker to go to one last summer. As soon as I find out, I will post what I know. I also know the castle on the outskirts of town does something-and again will post what I find out ASAP.

I did have to smile reading Quinn's comment, "vive la Midwest", I couldn't agree with you more.

Sounds like for those interested, there are enough Renn fests and such to form a solid network if planned out in advance.

Pslyder, sounds like the house will be busy with all of the Beltaine guests! Is this a druidic Beltaine? Replete with blue painted dancers and fertility fires?

TX Ren Fair is closest for me.

Al, if you come down this way, can you be convinced to wear a kilt? ::waggles brows::

Somewhere, I think I have pictures of some DoS folks at TX Ren Fest from a couple of years back. I'll have to look.

No. :P

And I was in Houston for about 20 minutes, too, last Thursday.

This Canuck here can't afford to go anywhere in the states for a Renn Faire. So as much as I'd love to meet you all it won't be for another year or two.

Well Anne, there's always room for a visiting Canuck.

Feel free to base out of our house if you decide you want to come down for some of the Southeastern faires.

::glances at Farek's answer::

How do I know you're not some big hairy truck driver or something worse?

Hmmm? ::flashes him a grin::

Farek's big and hairy, but I dunno if he's reached truck-driver level yet.

And I don't think I would've gotten a chance to meet you Sid - but let me know when you'll be around whether performing or not. :o

And yeah, I'll also throw out the drinking-offer for anyone silly enough to be in Pennsylvania.

You just listen to the ol' Pork Chop Express and take his advice on a dark and stormy night when some wild-eyed eight-foot tall maniac grabs your neck and taps the back of your favorite head up against a barroom wall. And he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks if you've paid your dues. You look that big sucker right back in the eye and remember what Jack Burton always says at times like that. "Have you paid your dues, Jack?" "Yes sir. The check is in the mail."
